The small town Enjelas is located 15 km south of Hamadan. The rugs woven here have the same name and are dense and very durable. The excellent quality of the wool they use is painted with natural colours that give the rugs a natural glow. The main colours used in rugs Enjelas are deep red with a complementary dark blue or vice versa, with a third colour being the unpainted natural beige of the animal, which is used mainly in the borders and less in the rest of the area.
